Offerings for Organizations
Who is in the Room?
Develop EQ and Build Capacity through Team Building
Coworkers can spend years alongside each other without understanding what makes their team members tick. New additions to teams can feel isolated and unsure how to integrate into an existing work dynamic. We can help with that! Through fun, low-stakes activities, your team will develop essential skills that include problem-solving, stress management, adaptability and communication.
Make time and space for a memorable experience that will improve work climate and build stronger connections throughout your team. We’ve tailored these workshops to engage and empower virtual groups!
Teams find our work both engaging and transformational because they:
- Enjoy guidance from a skillful and warm facilitator and certified life coach with Stanford degrees in Psychology (BA), Education (MA) and 15 years of experience
- Offer your team a breath of fresh air: Switch gears from “transactional” to “relational” and experience the value of developing EQ in community
- Take a break from the hierarchy: Give your leadership team an opportunity to take off the “manager” hat and relax into being a part of the community
- Offer low-stakes opportunities to deepen connection and practice EQ, “skills that should be... a part of any aspiring leader’s development priorities “ (Harvard Business Review, 2017)
- Include simple, practical time-efficient practices to continue building capacity beyond the session
Optional: 20 minute discovery call to identify areas of focus and growth for your team
Optional: 20 minute follow-up call to share reflections, quotes and suggested next steps
Foundations to Build On
Identity Development to support DEI work
Often organizations bring DEI work (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) to the office with the best intentions. However, without foundational communication skills, explicit community practices surrounding the conversations or a workplace climate committed to equity in action, these efforts can backfire, leaving co-workers on edge and reluctant to address this important topic.
Before we can address or resolve conflict in a constructive way, we have to know our personal relationship to conflict and communication. We need to build capacity on an individual and organizational level to engage in these tricky conversations.
In this interactive workshop, team members will:
- Gain self-awareness and a stronger sense of Self by exploring their personal identities
- Develop interpersonal skills that will help them connect with their coworkers on a deeper level
- Practice foundational social-emotional skills that will translate into improved workplace climate, increased productivity and connection.
After this workshop, participants will
- Be better equipped to have more constructive and productive conversations
- Have identified their individual values and strengths
- Have a set of strategies and tools to start crucial conversations or disrupt unconscious biases.
