After working in and alongside the classroom for the past 15 years, I’ve noticed patterns and gaps in the essential skills needed to move confidently into an era of the unknown. Emerging research confirms the benefits of alternative pedagogies such as social-emotional learn (SEL), restorative practices (RP), professional learning communities (PLCs) and mindfulness.

By activating our communities with healing-centered principles and collaborative practices, we plant seeds of hope for our future. I look forward to expanding possibilities within communities using all the creativity, collective knowledge and skills waiting to be uncovered.
